Discover a charming little town of Ston with its 5-kilometre long walls, as well as one of the most beautiful Croatian islands, the island of Korčula - hometown of Marco Polo, famous Venetian explorer and traveller. Ston is also well- known for its delicious oysters and old salt pans where salt is still produced old fashioned way.

After Ston we will continue our journey on a scenic road along Pelješac Peninsula towards Orebic, and there we hop on a little boat to Korčula. After the a sightseeing tour you will have enough free time to visit the house where one of world’s greatest travellers Marko Polo, was born in 1254. At the age of 17 he went on a long journey to China. Marko Polo was one of the first people that brought two different civilizations closer together, Europeans and the powerful Chinese. Marco Polo was responsible of discovering and introducing to Europe many Chinese great inventions and achievements, among which were pasta, paper money, oil as a mean of energy, many different spices and rich fabrics of different kinds and colours. On our way back we will visit a local restaurant and have oyster and clam tasting with a glass of local wine, of course!

09:30 Arrival in Ston, sightseeing, free time
10:40 Departure towards Orebic, scenic drive along Pelješac peninsula
11:45 Boat ride to Korčula
12:15 Korčula old town guided tour and sightseeing
13:00 Free time for lunch and other individual activities
15:00 Boat ride to Orebic, followed by a bus ride to Prapratno
16:30 Arrival in Prapratno. Clams tasting in a local restaurant
17:30 Departure to Dubrovnik
18:30 Arrival in Dubrovnik and transfer to hotels
