Countryside of Dubrovnik & dinner

Get to know the old fashioned way of life and hard labour of the Villagers around Dubrovnik. Learn about olive oil production and other traditions and customs. Visit an old family home just outside Dubrovnik, a place where hard work translates into excellent products. Familiarize with the way of life in the village.
 

The trip also includes visit to an arboretum in Trsteno, an old home and palace of Dubrovnik’s family Gozze – Gučetić (a beautiful example of gardening architecture of Dubrovnik’s nobility) and visit to the town of Ston. Ston is centuries old town, 2nd most important town of the old Dubrovnik Republic. Its importance was in salt production. The whole day you will enjoy beautiful landscapes and scenery, accompanied by an experienced driver/guide.

ITINERARY:

12:00 – Departure from Dubrovnik and panoramic orientation drive around Dubrovnik

14:00 – Arrival to Trsteno Arboretum

15:45 – Departure for Ston

16:30 – Arrival to Ston. Free time for exploration and relaxation

18:45 – Departure from Ston and drive to family Dubelj countryside restaurant

19:30 – Arrival to family Dubelj countryside restaurant, olive oil production presentation and dinner.

22:00 – Arrival to Dubrovnik
